Accounting and Bookkeeping in the UAE
Keep Your Books Ready for Tax, Bank and Audit

Good books are the base for your tax returns, your audit and your bank file. We coordinate monthly bookkeeping and accounting for UAE companies through independent professional partners, so your records stay complete and dated.

By Imran Mirza, Founder & CEO, Xillion Group UAE. Born and raised in the UAE, with 18+ years of professional working experience, including nearly seven years at Barclays and ADCB and 12 years in UAE business setup. Last reviewed 29 October 2026.

Short answer

Bookkeeping records every transaction; accounting turns those records into statements and supports tax filings. Corporate tax and VAT returns, bank reviews and any audit all rest on your records, so invoices and bank statements need to be kept month by month. Accounting, bookkeeping and tax work is coordinated through independent professional partners, not an in-house accounting team. Price depends on volume and scope, so it is quote on request.

Who does the work

Xillion Group UAE is a business setup consultancy. It does not run an in-house accounting team and is not an auditor or a tax agent. Accounting and bookkeeping are coordinated through independent licensed external professional partners, who are not Xillion employees. Filings made for you are made by the partner.

Xillion Group UAE is a consultancy. It is not a licensing authority, a bank or a law firm, and approvals are decided by the authority. This page is general information, not legal, tax or investment advice, and nothing here is a guarantee.

Who it is for

Who this page is for

  • New companies that need a clean set of books from the first month.
  • Free zone and mainland owners who want to hand over day-to-day records.
  • Companies registered for corporate tax or VAT that need reliable figures for returns.
  • Owners catching up on months of unrecorded transactions before a bank review or an audit.
  • Companies preparing to sell, merge or close, where buyers and liquidators ask for records.
Steps

How it works, step by step

  1. Share your set-up. Licence, activity, number of invoices and bank transactions a month, whether you use accounting software, and whether you are registered for tax.
  2. Scope the work. Bookkeeping only, bookkeeping with management reports, or bookkeeping with tax support. Payroll and VAT add scope.
  3. Match a partner. We introduce an independent accounting firm suited to your size and activity. You receive the quote from the firm.
  4. Hand over records. Bank statements, invoices and contracts are shared on a monthly schedule agreed with the partner.
  5. Review and file. The partner prepares reports and supports tax filings. Registered tax agents handle what only they may do. See corporate tax and VAT services.
  6. Keep it steady. A monthly rhythm stops year-end rushes. If an audit is asked for, see audit services.
